The Role

Due to continued growth of our company and the Socios.com product, we are now looking to recruit an IT Administrator to join our Tech team.

Reporting to our IT Manager, you will perform day-to-day IT Administrator tasks to complement the tasks carried out by the rest of the IT Team globally. Being the only IT Administrator in the Lyon, France Office, you will be the go-to person for anything relating to hardware and software assets, accounts maintenance, documentation and IT Security responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensure that the internal IT structure of the enterprise remains up-to-date.

• Works with networks spread across all locations globally.

• Troubleshoot and repair day-to-day issues.

• Onboarding and off-boarding processes.

• Utilise our MDM platform to configure all computers and mobiles across our offices together with managing policies and their groups.

• Maintain a high standard of customer service, satisfaction, and support to all end users across all offices and beyond.

• Utilize scripting languages to automate routine tasks, such as system provisioning, patch management, and log analysis

• Contribute to implementing security policies, data handling guidelines, and coordinated incident response efforts.

• Ensure that the organization's IT systems and processes are aligned with internal security policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the IT Support environment.

• Knowledge of networking technologies.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python) for automation and task management.

• Ability to work in a team and on your own.

• Analytical mind, with a problem-solving attitude.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong rapport with end-users, partners, and service providers.

• Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques.

• Excellent command of English and French languages - both verbal and written (essential).

• Currently based in Lyon or willing to relocate (essential).

Optional:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field would be preferred.

• Knowledge of macOS and Google Workspace.

• Knowledge of compliance standards

• Experience, working knowledge and applicable certifications in Atlassian Products.

• Be highly organised, detail oriented and knowledgeable in asset management technologies.
