As the Social Media Specialist for the Chiliz brand, you’ll help shape the voice of one of the most innovative brands in the worlds of Crypto, Sports and Web 3.
Together with your strategic partner, you’ll lead the charge in making sure Chiliz is not just understandable, but exciting, relevant, and impossible to ignore. From explaining what Chiliz Chain can unlock for developers and sports brands to launching thought-provoking campaigns and amplifying real-time moments, this is your playground.
You’ll work across X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and wherever else the conversation lives. Your content will reach builders, founders, fans, creators, and sports innovators, all in one feed.

This role requires a hybrid attendance in the office (3 days/week) and is available for candidates that are based in or willing to relocate to our office location in Malta, Madrid, or Lyon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Social Media Strategy: Implement the defined social media strategy across dedicated Chiliz channels (including but not limited to X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
- Content Creation & Curation: Create, write, and curate engaging organic content (text, images, and video concepts) that resonates with our target audience and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with our community by responding to comments, initiating discussions, and fostering a positive brand presence.
- Reactive & Proactive Execution: Balance planned content with real-time engagement opportunities, capitalizing on trending topics and relevant events in the sports and crypto worlds.
- Trend Spotting & Cultural Awareness: Identify and leverage emerging social media trends, hashtags, and cultural moments to enhance content reach and impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the video and creative teams to develop visually appealing and engaging content formats.
- Crypto & Blockchain Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of Web3 concepts, including Chiliz Chain, Fan Tokens, and staking, to communicate relevant information effectively to our audience.
- Basic Editing Skills: Employ basic editing skills (e.g., using tools like CapCut) to create quick-turnaround visuals and videos when necessary.
- Sharp Copywriting: Craft compelling, brand-aligned messaging that resonates across various audiences and platforms.
- Experimentation: Be willing to test new content formats, platforms, and growth tactics to optimize engagement and brand visibility.
- Flexibility: Understand the dynamic nature of crypto and sports, and be adaptable to managing content across different time zones when required.
Performance Monitoring: Assist in tracking key social media KPIs and contribute to reporting efforts.
Requirements:
- Fluent English is essential.
- To be considered, please submit your CV in English.
- 3+ years of proven experience in managing social media accounts for brands.
- 1+ years of experience working within the cryptocurrency industry or a strong demonstrable interest and understanding of the crypto space.
- A genuine passion for Crypto and a good understanding of the Crypto industry.
- Strong understanding of platform best practices across various social media channels (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and high-quality organic social media content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with sharp copywriting abilities.
- Experience in community engagement and building online relationships.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on social media trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset.
